Unique Users on Algorand
This dashboard provides and overview of popularity of four major chains since February 1st, 2021 by looking at the number of unique user per day.
Definitions and data
User is defined as a wallet that send or sign a succeeded transaction.
Daily number of unique user is the number of unique wallets that has sent or signed a succeeded transaction in a day.
The following tables from Flipside on-chain data has been used for the purpose of the analysis:
- algorand.transactions
- ethereum.transactions
- solana.fact_transactions
- terra.transactions
Results
The graph below shows the daily number of unique users by chains.
As can be seen:
the daily number of unique users on Algorand from 50K in the beginning of February decreased to 30K in the beginning of April.
Solana also experienced a downward trend in the same period of time.
Ethereum fluctuated between 350K and 400K.
The only chain that showed a upward trend is Terra.
The graph below shows the daily number of unique user at aggregate level.
We can see that the number of users overall is declining.
The graph below shows the dominance of chains in terms of daily number of unique wallets.
We can see that the dominance of Terra has been recently increased.
The animation below shows how the number of active wallets by chains has been changed over time.
We can see that the number of unique active wallets on Solana exceeded the number of active wallets on Ethereum.
