NFL ALL DAY - Round 3 - Digging Deeper
[📜] Introduction
NFL ALL DAY puts fans into the heat of the gridiron, enabling them to assemble a digital video collection of NFL moments made by the players and teams they love, while also providing them with access to a passionate, like-minded community of fans through both digital and in-person experiences throughout the season
In this dashboard we are going to take a deeper look into NFL All Day moments, such as impact of touchdown scores on sales and also impact of winning or losing on the team player moments sales.

[🤔] Approach
Data Source and Tables
To conduct our study, we are using Flipside Crypto as our data source. From said data source we are using following tables to query data:
flow.core.fact_nft_sales
→ These tables are used to access NFT sales on flow networkflow.core.dim_allday_metadata
→ This table is used to easily access metadata related to NFL All day collection.
Methodology
We use the tables mentioned to get the information we need to perform our analysis, then aggregate the information we need based on dates or values such as team name or player position. To get NFL All Day sales data, we need to filter the data by collection id, which for NFL collection is A.e4cf4bdc1751c65d.AllDay
.
In order to find Touchdowns we are searching related words such as ‘TD’ and ‘Touchdown’ in the description of the NFTs metadata. In order to find winner or loser teams we are using home and away teams scores and comparing their name with the moments player team.
Study Period
We are using the data since August 1, 2022. Right before preseason starts.
Average Daily Sales
These numbers show the average daily sales count and volume (in USD) that was traded for touchdown rushes and non touchdown rushes.
We are using MA-7 to draw average values.
It can be seen that:
- The average daily volume of TD Rush moments are 3.1x more.
- The average number of daily sales for TD Rush are 2.7x more than no TD rushes.
Users are almost 3 times more likely to spend money on Touchdown Rush moment NFTs than No Touchdown Rush NFTs.

Top Players
This charts depict the top players by sales volume in each category.
The top players that sold most TD Rush moments are, Jonathan Taylor, Justin Herbert and Josh Allen.
The top players that sold most No TD Rush moments are, Patterson, Elliot, Chubb.
Taylor (top player on TD rush chart) has sold 3 times more than Patterson (top on the no TD list).
Average Price
This graphs depict the daily average price for TD rush moments and no TD rush moments.
It can be seen that:
- Its interesting to see that No TD rush moments had higher max average sales price.
During preseason, the price of both types increase.
As the main games begin, the price of TD Rush moments increase, while the price of No TD Rush moments reduce or doesn’t increase much.
Cumulative Volume
Cumulative Volume charts depict almost a similar pattern, although, while TD Rush volume increases since Sep 10, the No TD Rush charts show stagnation.
Daily Sales
The first row of the charts depict daily volume of TD Rush and No TD Rush moments. the second row shows their daily sales.
It can be observed that:

Daily sales for TD rush moments is higher than No TD rush moments.

Before Sep 15th, the sales pattern of both type are almost identical.
On Sep 18 and 19, The pattern breaks, TD moments have more sales .

The next charts depict the sales volume and sales count of DL Sack and OL Touchdown moments.
We can observe that:

OL Touchdowns are way more popular.

Between Aug 18 and 20, DL Sack player moments sales has increased, still it could not compete with OL Touchdown moments sales.

Volume and Sales
The next charts depict the total volume and total number of sales for each category.
OL Touchdown moments have sold 11.5 times more than DL Sack.
DL Sack average price is lower than $20 while the average price for OL Touchdown moments are around $27, which is about 40% more. Actually No Touchdown Rush moments average sale price are far higher than DL sack moments average price.

Let’s Summarize our findings:
- Users are almost 3 times more likely to spend money on Touchdown Rush moment NFTs than No Touchdown Rush NFTs.
- The average price gap between a TD rush and No TD rush is not that big.
- Before Sep 15th, the sales pattern of TD and No TD rush moments are almost identical but on Sep 18 and 19, the pattern breaks, TD moments have more sales.
- During preseason, the price of TD and No TD rush moments increases. As the main games begin, the price of TD Rush moments increase, while the price of No TD Rush moments reduce or didn't increase much.
- Quarterbacks are more popular on TD rush moments. while Wide Receivers are more sought after on No TD moments.
- On TD rush moments, Quarterback is the most expensive, whole on No TD rush moments Wide Receiver are the most expensive moments.
- OL Touchdown are way more popular than DL Sack.
- The trading volume of the player moments of the winning team is 70% more than the moments of the losing team. Their average price are also 20% higher than losing team player moments.
