[ALGO] Tinyman 1.1 Launch Swaps
Loading...
-
One of Algorand's biggest DEXs, Tinyman, relaunched on January 19th, 2022(https://twitter.com/tinymanorg/status/1483765264353312774?s=20).
-
What have been the most popular swaps on since the launch of the new Tinyman dApp? What swaps have had the largest amount of swaps by ALGO volume since the new launch?

- We will be using a variety of methods to look at how the 'top' list of swaps changes.
- Each method should yield a unique insight!
- Mthods we will be using:
- Number of Unique users/Wallets
- Average Algo swapped
- Total Algo swap Volume since Launch
- Total Swap counts
- The top 10 by most users seem to be mostly ASA pools that are yield-bearing/defi protocols. We could term these as productive ASA poools. We also have PLANET, which is an ASA ecosystem backed by air quality sensing products!
- Quite expected to see USDC stable here. Users do want safety from excessive volatility from time to time
- We also have our meme coins AKITA INU and KittenCoin in the top 10!
- Majority of the pools from (1) carry over here too. There's some exceptions and outliers though!
- The memecoins seem to not be present! This is actually good, users should not be degen/risking high amounts of algo in such plays
- We have some weird looking new entrants in this method...Namely Algoscout & Algoreward token.
- We can drilldown in the following table and ignore them, they have way too low users to be credible entries for now.
- Makes sense to see USDC leading the swaps in terms of ALGO swapped.
- Other leaders being consistent from Method (1)
-
Seeing AKITA INU in the (1), (3) and (4) methods but (2) suggests that while users are not necessarily swapping high algo per swap, it sure adds up in terms of txns, algo volume.

Degens gonna degen I guess?
