Users can use Lido to stake ether (ETH) and receive their staking rewards for helping secure the Ethereum blockchain. Stakers receive stETH to represent the amount of ETH staked at a 1:1 ratio. The advantage is that you can then use stETH in the same way you would use regular ETH

According to the chart above, in the first two months, the amount of stake with Lido is a good and high amount, and on the 2nd of May. The record of 104k eth has been recorded, but in the last month or more precisely after May 11, we see a decrease in the amount of stake, so that it has been reduced to one tenth, which can be due to the following reasons:

1) The collapse of financial markets

2) Wars and financial crises and consequently creating fear of financial markets and investment

3) Reduction of stETH price compared to ETH
