Description of work

In this dashboard, we want to analyze NFT sales on three different blockchains include Flow, Solana, and Algorand.

This dashboard includes the following sections:

1. Sales volume

   1 - 1 Total sales volume

   2 - 1 Monthly sales volume

   3 - 1 Daily sales volume

   4 - 1 Average sales volume/day

5. Conclusion

In this work, all calculations have been done from 2022-04-20 onwards.

The data relating to the NFT sales in the Flow blockchain is available from2022-04-20 onwards.

To have a proper comparison between the blockchains, all the calculations for all the blockchains have been done from the mentioned date onwards.

• The most significant NFT sales volume belongs to Solana($868M), Flow($79.3M), and Algorand($6.32M), respectively.

2 - 2 Monthly sales volume

✔️Observations

• The highest monthly Flow sales volume was recorded in 2022-08($19.617M), 2022-05($13.959M), and 2022-09($13.339M), respectively.

• The highest monthly Solana sales volume was recorded in 2022-05($333.532M), 2022-04($174.187M), and 2022-06($120.355M), respectively.

4 - 3 Average number of unique buyers/day

Methodology

To calculate the Average Sales Price/day:

• 1 - We get the average daily price of all NFTs sold in each blockchain.
• 2 - Then, we calculate the average of results obtained in step 1

• The most significant Average Sales Price/day belongs to Solana ($118.9), Algorand ($31.3), and Flow ($28.1), respectively.

5 - Conclusion

In this dashboard, we analyzed NFT sales and NFT buyers on 3 different blockchains, and the following results were obtained

1 - Sales volume

Methodology

• For all calculations related to the NFT sales, we use data from the [nft_sales] table related to each blockchain
• To calculate the sales volume in dollars, we obtain the daily price of different tokens from the following tables:
  • Algorand: from [algorand.prices_swap]
  • Sol: from [ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices] - we use Wrapped Sol price
  • Flow:
