There are several stablecoins that are being used as USD dollar. In this case, we will compare one of them, DAI, with the most important ones like USDT, USDC and TUSD. In the following charts, we will compute:

• The total volume of these stablecoins over time and the cummulative volume
• The total volume and the cummulative volume by stablecoin
• The total volume of each stablecoin
• The total distribution of each stablecoin in terms of volume

From these results we can extrat that:

• There is a lot of volume generated in stablecoins. The major registration is almost 60B jn a single day. The cummulative volume of these 4 stablecoins exceeds the 7T of USD.
• DAI is the third of its kind. USDT and USDC are above them with a total of more than 2.5T USD each, while DAI have passed the trillion. However, we can see how despite USDT always dominate the charts, it seems like DAI have increased a little bit its percentage over time. Right now, it has 16.6% of the total bolume of these stablecoins.

Finally, taking into account DAI actions, we can see how users use basically for three kind of things:

• 1. transfers in more than 38% of times
• 2. Swap in 14% of times taking into account swaps for tokens and ETH
• 3. Execute in 9% of the cases
