Introduction

The Solana ecosystem has highlighted the Slope wallet as the genesis of the exploit, amplifying calls for a transition to hardware wallets.

Slope, a Web3 wallet service provider for Solana, has been blamed for the loss of funds in the ecosystem. The Slope team admitted that a "cohort of Slope wallets were compromised in the breach" and that both staff and founder wallets were affected during the attack. It also confirmed that it is conducting an internal investigation and comprehensive security audit in conjunction with blockchain security teams.

The attack began on August 2 with widespread reports of users losing their SOL tokens from their wallets. 24 hours later, the attacker stole $8 million in SOL from nearly 8,000 wallets.

In this dashboard we will analyze the volume that has been hacked every hour, the four wallets identified as hackers. We will also look at the five wallets that have lost the most.
