In this dashboard we are gonna visualize the number of new smart contracts deployed over time the past 30 days. We will find as well the top 5 new smart contracts interacted in that period.
Introduction and methods
Near Protocol is a layer 1 blockchain that supports smart contracts. It is a decentralized network that has been built from scratch, with the aim of creating an ecosystem of its own, based on the implementation of tools that allow developers to build and scale applications on top of its network, and thus offer end users an intuitive experience and low-cost transactions.

NEAR web applications have two different parts in the form of a front-end and a back-end:
- Smart Contracts \n They manage the on-chain storage and modification of data. Smart contracts require exposing ways to help clients “view” and “change” their state.
- Interactions with Smart Contract-(s):- \n Similar to cloud API, we are entitled to interact with our contracts or the contracts that others deploy. We do this by using near-api-js Quickstart and Code Snippets available in the application.
In this dashboard we are gonna visualize the number of new smart contracts deployed over the past month. We will find the top 5 new contracts interacted in that period.
In the first graph, we can see that new contracts from July to today remain fairly stable. It peaked on July 19, with 69 new contracts. The cumulative new contracts are growing steadily. Today, there are 800 new contracts since July.

Finally, in the last graph, we have analyzed the 5 new Near contracts that have had the most interaction during the last month. We can see a clear difference between berryclub.ek.near new contract and the rest. During the last 30 days it has had approximately 468k interactions. The next two new contracts have had 18k and 12k interactions respectively. The other two new contracts have 4k and 2k interactions.
