On June 27, 2022, there were 321.93 thousand transactions carried out by 183.64 thousand users. This was the day that the number of users and the number of transactions both went on an unbroken increasing trend.

The trend of the number of users had a good growth during this period, but on June 28, the number of users and transactions had a relatively large dump, and 138,27K transactions were made by 28.24K users. Although the trend of the number of users had a good growth during this period, the actual number of users and transactions had a relatively large dump. After that, the trend started to almost go in the opposite direction, and it continued in this direction until July 12. However, starting on July 13, the trend of the number of transactions and users started to increase again, and it continued to increase until July 27, when the number of users reached 110.26K and they made 354.73K transactions.

On the other hand, this is not the complete picture, as the number of transactions continued to rise and had reached 497.05K transactions by the 29th of July! This was completed by 74,82,000 different users. After then, it continued its downward trend for another two days, but then it started climbing again.

However, with regard to the fee, it can be noted that it was not expensive at all!

For instance, on July 9, which had the fewest number of transactions during this time period, the number of transactions was 101.25K transactions, and only 2,014 dollars was paid as a fee; this amount is very much compared to the fee in Ethereum, which is introduced as the mother network of Optimism. Optimism was introduced as the successor to Ethereum as the primary cryptocurrency.

    It has become more affordable!

Transfers, Swaps, and Approvals have been the most well-attended competitions in Optimism so far. Transfers, which comprises Bridge, Transfers Tokens, and other related games, has become the most popular. Since June 27 and July 27, there has been a strong increase in terms of users, and in terms of the number of transactions, it has grown better than other events. This is something that can be mentioned since there has been a good growth in terms of users.

After that, the Swap event has been the most popular one; between June 27 and July 27, it has experienced a good development in terms of the number of transactions as well as the number of users. During this time period, Transfers has had nearly 3.7M transactions, and 608.85K users have used this event. As a charge, approximately 240 ETH has been paid, which is a fairly modest amount in comparison to the number of transactions!

This sum is equivalent to 348.8 thousand US dollars!

During this time period, there were 1.4 million transactions conducted on Swap, which were carried out by 345 thousand users. The total amount of fees paid for these transactions amounted to around 15.23 ETH, which is equivalent to 20.21K USD.

The number of transfers continued their downward trend up until the 12th of July. Except, of course, for WETH, which experienced a very healthy surge from June 21 through June 27 and reached 55,449K transactions on June 27 before seeing a decline after reaching its peak.

Since July 13, the number of transfers has climbed steadily and has been growing at a good rate. The majority of these transfers were related to USDC and WETH, which have grown more than other tokens during this time period.

Dai and USDT are the next tokens that have gained significantly in value. Since July 16, USDC and WETH have grown quite well in terms of amounts based on USD, of course, and since August 3, USDC and DAI have increased very significantly in terms of their USD value.

In Optimism, the currencies with the largest number and total value of transactions are USDC, WETH, DAI, and sUSD.

During this time period, USDC had 8.2 million transfers totaling 5.26 billion dollars, making it the organization with the most number of transfers as well as the biggest total amount of transfers.

It had about 40 percent of the volume of transfers among the top 10 tokens, and it had 51.7% of the volume of transfers among the amounts.

During this time period, WETH also had 6 million transactions, which accounted for 28% of the volume of transfers in Optimism. Meanwhile, the value of transfers was 2.05 billion, which accounted for 20.2% of the volume of transfers.

Since July 12, the pace of transactions in this network has increased significantly, which is consistent with the fact that the number of transactions in Optimism has remained constant.

The speed in Optimism measured in terms of TPS was less than one on July 12, but by July 29, it had reached more than two transactions per second.

It has gone from 42.89 transactions per minute (TPM) to 188.29 transactions per minute, which indicates that it has more than quadrupled in that regard.

On July 12 there were approximately 2,415 transactions, and by July 29 there had been 11,32K total transactions. According to TPH.

Up to the 21st of June, the fail rate was between from 9 percent to 15 percent, which was the greatest number of unsuccessful transactions in Optimism! It indicates that its success rate has consistently been higher than 85% during its entire history.

The failure rate has been less than 7% from the 22nd of June through the 10th of July, and on some days it has been at 3.5%, which is fantastic in comparison to the majority of Optimism's competitive networks!!

Since July 11, the success rate has decreased again with the increase in the number of transactions, but it has varied from 8% to 14%. This indicates that despite the decrease, the success rate in this network has been greater than 86%, even on July 29, when there was a failure rate of 14.13% for 272K transactions.

During this time span, there have been 5.8 million transactions total, and out of those transactions, just 533,97 thousand have failed, which is a relatively low failure rate. Another successful transaction has occurred involving 5.24 million dollars.

Optimism has a success rate of 90.8% while the failure rate is 9.2%!

For unsuccessful transactions, a cost of 1.94 ETH was paid, while successful transactions resulted in a fee of 15.91 ETH being paid. The total amount of successful transactions was 5.24M.

Let's move on to the next topic, which is the NFT volume in Optimism.

During this time period, there has been a declining trend in the volume of buying and selling of NFT taking place in this network. After reaching a peak at the end of June, the quantity of acquisitions and transactions saw a subsequent downward trend. but on Aug month the trend starts growing.

On June 16, there were 715 NFTs sold, 658 buyers, and 231 sellers; however, the quantity of sales was low. This was the day with the largest number of sales, buyers, and sellers; however, the amount of sales was low.

On that day, the total amount of ETH that was sold was 52.68. However, on June 23, the total quantity of ETH sold climbed and reached 7.6.37, and on June 24, it reached 651.74 ETH. The next day, on June 25, it reached 651.74 ETH.

The biggest amount of sales have been racked up by the Global Gans and Dop Wars projects during the past two days. The number of sales grew once more on June 17 and June 28, reaching a total of 508.7 ETH and 617.3 ETH respectively.

During those two days, the most number of sales were generated by Dop Wars and Mirror projects. During this time period, the most successful project in terms of the volume of sales was Optimism. This project sold 23 thousand NFTs, which was equivalent to more than 28 percent of the total volume of NFT sales in this network.

After that, the second most popular project in Optimism was Project Galaxy, which had 21K, and it accounted for 20% of the total sales volume among the top 10 projects.

When it comes to sales, the projects with the highest success have been Optipunk and Bored Town. With a total of 2,228 ETH sold, Optipunk was the most successful project. 67.2% of the total amount of NFT sales in Optimism was contributed by this project.

Within the top 10, Bored Town was the second most popular project, receiving 318.34 ETH and accounting for 9.6% of the total sales volume.

    conclusion

The most well-attended competitions in Optimism have been the Transfers, Swap, and Approval events. The game of Transfers, which also goes by the name Bridge and Transfers Tokens, has been the most well-liked. Since June 27 and July 27, it is safe to say that there has been a decent rise in terms of users, and in terms of the number of transactions, it has grown better than other events. This is something that can be mentioned.

The number of transfers has been steadily declining up until the 12th of July. Except for WETH, of course, which had a very excellent rise from June 21 to June 27 and hit 55,449K transactions on June 27 before going down. This growth was followed by a decline.

Optimism records the largest number and total value of transactions for the cryptocurrencies USDC, WETH, DAI, and sUSD. The rate at which transactions are completed in Optimism has been consistent with the total number of transactions, and ever since July 12 the rate at which transactions are completed in this network has increased noticeably.

Up to the 21st of June, the failure rate was between from 9 percent to 15 percent, which was the greatest number of unsuccessful transactions in Optimism! It indicates that its percentage of success has consistently been higher than 85 percent! The Dop Wars and Mirror projects were responsible for the highest total number of sales. During this time period, the project Optimism was the most successful one in terms of the volume of sales that it generated. This initiative was responsible for the sale of 23,000 NFTs, which represented more than 28 percent of the

    Introduction

    what is Optimism

As a layer 2 chain, optimism runs on top of the Ethereum mainnet (layer 1). Although transactions happen on Optimism, the transaction data is posted to the mainnet where it is verified. It is comparable to using a highway's security while driving down a less congested side street.

According to Defi Llama, optimism is the second-largest Ethereum layer 2 with $313 million locked inside its smart contracts as of this writing. First place goes to Arbitrum with $1.32 billion.

The biggest protocol on Optimism is Synthetix, a derivatives liquidity protocol, with a total value locked (TVL) of $125 million. On the chain, Uniswap, a decentralized exchange (DEX), is the second most well-liked protocol. 35 protocols on Optimism have at least $1,000 secured in their smart contracts as of the time of writing.

    Methodology

To determine volume and speed, we use Fact Transactios. To determine the fee amount, we also use Ethereum tables and multiply the daily price of ETH by the fee amount to display the fee based on USD.

To make it easier to compare the amounts, we additionally use the Fact Transfers table to locate the transfers and display them once more in USD.

We utilize the to determine the Stake volume.
