Daily Transactions and Unique Addresses
Daily Transactions and Unique Addresses
In this article, we will examine the number of transactions and the number of unique addresses used on the Polygon network since the beginning of July 2022.
According to the surveys, the average number of transactions was about 2.22 million, and the average number of used unique wallets was about 192 thousand.
Investigations show that since the beginning of July, there has been no significant change in the number of transactions and wallets used.
On July 1 and July 5, we see the highest number of transactions, but their number is almost close to the average. Therefore, they are almost in the same range.
What Is a Moving Average (MA)?
In statistics, a moving average is a calculation used to analyze data points by creating a series of averages of different subsets of the full data set. In finance, a moving average (MA) is a stock indicator that is commonly used in technical analysis. The reason for calculating the moving average of a stock is to help smooth out the price data by creating a constantly updated average price. ()
In the following investigations, we have calculated the 3-day moving average.
MA3 review shows that there has been no significant change in the number of transactions and unique addresses.
Conclusion
Considering that there is no report about the failure of the polygon network in the news, it can be concluded that a large number of transactions have been successfully completed on different days and it cannot be said that the disruption in the polygon network caused the lack of growth in the number of transactions. Now the polygon network is one of the popular networks of its users, and if there is a weakness in it, it will not reduce its popularity due to its quick fix. In any case, in the current market conditions, its use is not expected to grow, and maybe it will continue to grow in the future with improved programs and better performance and good market conditions.
