as bounty itself described, this bounty is about bot tax which is a mechanism for preventing bots to busy the Solana blockchain. for ordinary users fees on Solana is very low which makes Solana a very cheap fee blockchain. since bots were abusing Solana to mint with it's very low fee and this caused Solana tp goes up and makes the network busy and finally down the network, Metaplex has decided to charge bots for 0.01 SOL to pay as fee.
this dashboard will analyze the bot tax transactions and answer to below subjects:
how many bot transactions and thus how much SOL has Metaplex captured?
Display when these transactions occurred over time and if there were certain wallets that have been discovered to be guilty of botting the network.
this bot tax was implemented on April 29th so in order to run query faster I will filter queries to run after and equal to that date.
how many bot transactions and thus how much SOL has Metaplex captured?
this has two part to answer, first we will find how much transaction bot did and then find SOL payed by bots to Metaplex.
bots has done about 98K transaction since April 29th.
the next result shows how much SOL has been payed by bots.
till now about 1.38 SOL is paid by bots to Metaplex. please note that since a failed transaction is a transaction and should pay fee, all transaction counted in this query. which means there is no filter for SUCCEEDED transactions only.
so base on this chart we can see how many transaction happened at what hour for all days. most of the transactions happened at 18 o'clock.
another good data can be transactions per day.
on May 6th bots did about 40.3K transactions.
to find wallets that have transactioned more than others we can count wallets and find the top of them by transaction count.
so the chart shows top 10 wallets that have made more transaction in bot tax mode.
