Introduction

as we all know OpenSea, it is the largest NFT sale market for Ethereum and NFT traders are trading in it all day.

Opensea supports other chains like Polygon and Solana too.

in this dashboard we will analyze Opensea Fees for NFT sales on Polygon.

we didn’t filter out r queries to run from a specified date so no date filter has been used in all of this dashboard’s data.

Methodology

we have track some NFT sales on Polygon from Opeansea and find out that there is always 2.5% charge fee for Polygon NFT trades too.

these charge fees are sent to two wallets which are: '0x8de9c5a032463c561423387a9648c5c7bcc5bc90' and '0x5b3256965e7c3cf26e11fcaf296dfc8807c01073'

so we have used these two wallets to track fees that Opensea charges every sale on Polygon.

both above numbers which are Opeansea total fee charge from Polygon NFT sales are the same.

we have used both ==fact_token_transfers== and ==fact_event_logs== to be sure that our methodology is true and it is showing us the right data.

so as we see there is about 235.7 $WETH that opensea charges NFT sales on Polygon and it’s two wallet have received about 235.7 $WETH from NFT sales till now.

there is no such expensive NFTs like BoredApes on Polygon so we can’t expect so much charge fees for OpenSea.

because when NFT collections are expensive so when they are sold their fee charge will be high too.

Maximum fee that Opensea received for NFT sales on Polygon is 1.2 $WETH.

Zed Run is a blockchain game that users can build a stable, get a racehorse, and race against players all over the world.

minimum fee received for Opensea wallets is 425n $WETH and it’s because there is so many cheap collections on Opensea on Polygon.

also average fee received for Opeansea is 0.001094 $WETH.

above chart shows fee received for Opeansea’s both wallet per day.

amounts in above chart are by $WETH.

almost there is a stable fee received for Opensea every day and it has never been under 2 $WETH.

on Jun 15th there is about 9.5 $WETH received for Opensea wallets which was highest fee received per day.

on Jul 19th about 1.8 $WETH has been charged from NFT sales which is the lowest charge fee per day. and after that date we see a almost decreasing trend in compare to other days.

above chart is the same as previous chart but have separated fee charge for Opensea’s two wallets.

from Jun 16th the 0x8de9c5a032463c561423387a9648c5c7bcc5bc90 wallet is receiving more fee than other wallet.

on Jun 8th the amount by USD is more than other days which means WETH price at that day was higher than other days.

Result

• about 236 $WETH has been received for Opensea wallets from NFT trades on Polygon.
• maximum fee charged for Opensea NFT trades is 1.2 $WETH that was a sale for ZedRun.
• fee charges for Opensea is almost decreasing per day which shows NFT trades are decreasing per day too.
