Q78. Why should developers build on Solana compared to other L1 chains? What features for developers does Solana offer that make it appealing?

Compare Solana in terms of transaction speed/throughput, user growth and activity, cost/fees per user, growth in defi and growth in nfts to at least two other chains.

How are popular projects on Solana able to scale compared to top projects on other chains (for example a gaming app like StepN or a popular dex like Orca). How do you envision user growth of apps on Solana over time? What types of products seem to be positioned particularly well on Solana?

first I will compare TPS which is transaction per second.

I will limit my data to 3 month ago. so all data are from 3 month ago.

we found tps for Solana, Algorand and Ethereum since last 3 month ago.

Solana tps is: 434

Algorand is: 71.9

and Ethereum is: 184.2

So Solana has the highest tps which is transaction per second.

the next compare is user growth per day.

Solana user growth per day is increasing but for Ethereum this metric is decreasing and for Algorand it is not changing so much.

these two charts shows nft sale on Solana and Ethereum. in Ethereum we see a decreasing trend but on Solana nft sales are increasing.

on Solana network fee is so low and is about 0.00001 SOL in most cases, but in Ethereum it depends on network and always is higher than $10, also on Algorand fee is low too, but Algorand hasn't been on a stress test yet and it's users are lower than Solana so we can't say that Algorand can handle as much users as Solana or not.

base on these metric we can say that Solana is a good blockchain for developers to build.
