Flipside has added Realms governance data recently.

All realms governance data can be reach here.

as a part of community users can vote and tell their opinions by voting on governance proposals.

so in this dashboard we will analyze 10 DAOs on Realms.

these 10 DAOs are:

• Mango
• Grape
• Psy Finance
• Solend
• MonkeDAO
• Metaplex
• Jet
• Serum
• The Imperium of Rain
• Synthetify

Methodology

every DAO on Realms has it’s own program and also a unique key which is Pubkey.

for example if we look at Mango DAO which can be found here , we see that it’s Pubkey is: DPiH3H3c7t47BMxqTxLsuPQpEC6Kne8GA9VXbxpnZxFE

so base by this method we have found Pubkey which is REALMS_ID in solana.core.fact_proposal_votes table.

for all chart in this dashboard we just used solana.core.fact_proposal_votes table which contains almost all important data we need for this dashboard.

also no time filter has been used for all data in this dashboard.

Analyze

bounty asks for below data for those 10 DAOs.

• Number of Members (assuming unique voters is what he means here)
• Total Votes
• Number of Proposals
• Date of Last Proposal
• Date of Creation

we also analyze:

• votes types
• votes weight
• votes choice
• votes per day

here is a chart of number of each DAO’s member.

as said we have counted unique voters for each DAO to came to this chart.

The Imperium of Rain has the most number of unique users that have voted on it’s proposals.

it has about 52.2% share of all users among these all 10 DAOs.

Grape is top 2 among these 10 DAOs and it has a share of 16.6% among others.

also top 3 is Solend which has about 8.8% of all users among these 10 DAOs.

and Metaplex has the lowest share of unique users.

this chart shows number of proposals for each DAO.

MonkeDAO has the highest number of proposals which is 196 proposals.

Mago is 2st in this list and it has 176 proposals.

Grape has 72 proposals and it makes it top 3 among these DAOs.

lowest number of proposals belongs to Solend which is just 3 proposals.

and here is total votes for each DAO.

we have counted all succeeded votes for each DAO in this chart.

we have just counted succeeded votes because when a user failed to vote, his vote didn’t count as total votes. a succeeded vote is a vote not failed ones.

base on this definition, Grape has the highest number of total votes.

Grape has 2712 succeeded votes till now.

top 2 DAO among others is The Imperium of Rain which has 2403 votes till now.

Mango with 1717 votes is top 3 DAO.

lowest number of total votes belongs to Synthetify which is 42 votes.

to find Date of creation we have founded minimum timestamp of users votes for each DAO.

Mango is the first DAO which is created on 12/1/2021 base on first vote that is registered on blockchain.

and among these DAOs, Solend is the last DAO which is created on 6/19/2022.

we also found date of last proposal for each DAO.

simply we have found minimum date for each DAO’s proposal and then find maximum date among these for each DAO, which makes it date of last proposal for each DAO.

last proposal of Synthetify is the eldest one and last proposal of Grape is the newest one.

this chart shows votes types for each DAO.

votes type for proposals of every DAO are cumulated and made this chart.

type here means successful or failed.

the purpose was to see what DAOs has the most successful of unsuccessful votes.

this metrics depends on Solana network mostly.

we also have founded votes weight for each DAO.

we have cumulated these choices and made this chart.

it seems that weights are not correct base on some random votes check.

weight for each vote are mostly 100.

so we have just cumulate them and since Grape had most number of total votes, so it’s weight is the highest too.

here we have finded votes choice for every 10 DAO.

since the only choices are YES and NO, so easily we have cumulated them for DAOs.

Grape had the most number of votes so it was expected that it has the most number of YES votes too and also most number of NO votes.

Above chart shows votes per day for each DAO.

there is no time limit for it’s query.

votes started from Dec 2021.

highest number of votes per day is for The Imperium of Rain which was 308 votes on May.

Result

we have analyzed 10 DAOs on Realms and came to these data about them:

• if we count number of unique voters as members, The Imperium of Rain has the highest number of members.
• MonkeDAO has the highest number of proposals with 196 proposals.
• Grape has the most number of total votes for it’s proposals which is 2712 votes.
• Mango has the oldest(first) proposal that was created on Dec 2021.
• The Imperium of Rain had 308 votes per ay which is the highest number of votes per day.
