What DApp means?

A decentralized application (dApp) is a type of distributed open source software application that runs on a peer-to-peer (P2P) blockchain network rather than on a single computer.

Introduction

In this dashboard I have extracted the dApps on Ethereum network with more than 100K unique users by having users> 100000 ==which there are 29 dApps with more than 100K unique users==. then I have checked these dApps in three fields of Transactions, Volume and Users which includes total values and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly values over time. these observations would give us a over all view on how these dApps has performed.

Transaction of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total transactions and transactions over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

• On pie chart its show that there has been 125M transactions done by extracted 29 dApps on Ethereum network in which majority of them(46.8%) belongs to augur with 58.8M transactions. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of transactions are weth, chainlink, shiba inu and ens, rest of them which are 21 dApps has percentages of transactions lower than 3%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that majority of these dApps has steady trend with some spikes on their time line in which May 11, 2021 is the day with highest number of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 250,870 transactions.
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that other dApps has also increasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on second week of May 2021 the highest number of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 1,372,983 transactions.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps and had its most numbers during August 2020 to May 2021, we can see that other dApps had increasing trend towards late months of 2022, and on May 2021 the highest number of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 4,759,287 transactions.
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2021 we had highest activity on these dApps with 53M transactions on that year in which augur with 37M transactions had most portion of them. until 2021 we had increasing trend but after 2021 and in 2022 we see that number of transactions has reduced to 22M so far.

• On pie chart its show that there has been 135M volume done by extracted 29 dApps on Ethereum network in which majority of them(62.7%) belongs to augur with 84.9M volume. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of transactions are weth, token-sale ,ens and free wallet rest of them which are 21 dApps has percentages of volume lower than 1%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions with steady trend and some spikes on its time frame, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that majority of these dApps also has steady trend with some spikes on their time line in which September 9, 2020 is the day with highest volume of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 1,647,786 .
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions with increasing then decreasing trend, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that other dApps has also increasing then decreasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on last week of August 2020 the highest volume of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 8,402,655.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps and had its most numbers on September 2020 with 24M, we can see that other dApps also had increasing 2021, and on September 2021 the highest volume of transactions recorded on it for augur dApp with 24,680,120 .
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2021 we had highest activity on these dApps with 71.2M volume on that year in which augur with 58M had most portion of them. until 2021 we had increasing trend but after 2021 and in 2022 we see that volume of transactions has reduced to 9.6M so far.

Volume of transaction of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total volume of transactions and volume of transactions over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

• On pie chart its show that there has been 13M unique users active on extracted 29 dApps on Ethereum network in which most of them(20.8%) belongs to augur with 3.33M users. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of users are shiba inu, weth, chainlink and forsage.io rest of them which are 21 dApps has percentages of users lower than 6%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur users, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that majority of these dApps has steady trend with some spikes on their time line in which May 11, 2021 is the day with highest number of users recorded on it for augur dApp with 100,693 users.
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur users , which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that other dApps has also increasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on second week of May 2021 the highest number of users recorded on it for augur dApp with 359,433 users.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur users , which has most increasing trend among dApps and had its most numbers during July 2020 to May 2021, we can see that other dApps had increasing trend towards late months of 2022, and on May 2021 the highest number of users recorded on it for augur dApp with 835,627 users.
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2021 we had highest activity on these dApps with 7.65M users on that year in which augur with 2.7M users had most portion of them. until 2021 we had increasing trend but after 2021 and in 2022 we see that number of users has reduced to 3.72M so far.

Unique users of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total users and users over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

Conclusion

Augur has majority of activity among extracted dApps which means most volume and most number of transactions and most users are belongs to this dApp, and majority of this dApp’s activity was recorded during 2021 but other dApps also were active on 2022.

Other than “augur we see that these dApps were impactful among dApps with having considerable portion of transaction, volume and user activities which are “shiba inu”, “weth”, “chainlink”, “forsage.io”, “ens” and “free walle”.
