What DApp means?

A decentralized application (dApp) is a type of distributed open source software application that runs on a peer-to-peer (P2P) blockchain network rather than on a single computer.

Introduction

In this dashboard I have extracted the dApps on Solana network with more than 50 unique users by having users> 50 ==which there are 17 dApps with more than 100K unique users==. then I have checked these dApps in three fields of Transactions, Volume and Users which includes total values and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly values over time. these observations would give us a over all view on how these dApps has performed.

Transaction of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total transactions and transactions over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

1. Total transaction count of DAPPs: this chart shows total umber of transactions executed by extracted 17 dapps in which occurred on Solana network
2. Daily transaction count of DAPPs: this chart shows number of transactions executed by extracted 17 dapps per day, in which occurred on Solana network
3. Weekly transaction count of DAPPs: this chart shows number of transactions executed by extracted 17 dapps per week, in which occurred on Solana network
4. Monthly transaction count of DAPPs: this chart shows number of transactions executed by extracted 17 dapps per month, in which occurred on Solana network
5. Yearly transaction count of DAPPs: this chart shows number of transactions executed by extracted 17 dapps per year, in which occurred on Solana network

• On pie chart its shown that there has been 10K transactions done by extracted 17 dApps on Solana network in which majority of them(31.4%) belongs to grape with 2,205 transactions. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of transactions are uxdprotocol, metaplex dao"owner", gsail governance dao and solend dao, rest of them which are 13 dApps has percentages of transactions lower than 3%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider augur transactions, which has decreasing trend, we can see that majority of these dApps has decreasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which June 16, 2022 is the day with highest number of transactions recorded on it for solend dao dApp with 171 transactions.
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider grape transactions, which has decreasing trend, we can see that other dApps has also decreasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on third week of April 2022 the highest number of transactions recorded on it for orca"owner" dApp with 266 transactions.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider grape transactions, which has decreasing trend and had its most numbers during March 2022, we can see that other dApps had decreasing trend towards late months of 2022, and on October 2022 the highest number of transactions recorded on it for uxdprotocol dApp with 462 transactions.
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2022 we had highest activity on these dApps with 6,612 transactions on that year in which grape with 2,007 transactions had most portion of them. from 2021 towards 2022 we see that number of transactions has increased from 403 to 6,612 transactions.

Volume of transaction of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total volume of transactions and volume of transactions over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

• On pie chart its shown that there has been 1.43B volume done by extracted 17 dApps on Solana network in which majority of them(63.6%) belongs to uxdprotocol with 907M volume. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of transactions are tulip protocol, solend dao ,sol patrol dao and serum rest of them which are 13 dApps has percentages of volume lower than 1%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that majority of these dApps has steady trend with some spikes or some with decreasing trend, on their time line in which November 14, 2022 is the day with highest volume of transactions recorded on it for uxdprotocol dApp with 392,398,585.
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol transactions with increasing trend, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that other dApps has decreasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on second week of February 2022 the highest volume of transactions recorded on it for mango dApp with 68,000,000.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol transactions, which has most increasing trend among dApps and had its most numbers on November 2022 with 418M, we can see that majority of other dApps had decreasing trend, and on February 2022 the highest volume of transactions recorded on it for mango dApp with 68,000,780.
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2021 we had lowest activity on these dApps with 85M volume on that year in which nogoaldao with 58M had most portion of them. on 2022 we had increasing in volume of transactions in which it increased to 1.34B and uxdprotocol with 907M had most portion of transaction volume on 2022.

Unique users of dApps has been calculated in this part which incudes total users and users over time on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

3. Weekly unique users of DAPPs: this chart shows number of active unique users of extracted 17 dapps per week, in which occurred on Solana network
4. Monthly unique users of DAPPs: this chart shows number of active unique users of extracted 17 dapps per month, in which occurred on Solana network
5. Yearly unique users of DAPPs: this chart shows number of active unique users of extracted 17 dapps per year, in which occurred on Solana network

• On pie chart its shown that there has been 3.6K unique users active on extracted 17 dApps on Solana network in which most of them(28.7%) belongs to uxdprotocol with 1,046 users. the next 4 important dApps with same percentage of users are grape, metaplex dao"owner", orca"owner" and solend dao rest of them which are 13 dApps has percentages of users lower than 4%.
• Daily chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol users, which has increasing then decreasing trend, we can see that majority of these dApps has fluctuated trend with some spikes on their time line in which June 19, 2022 is the day with highest number of users recorded on it for solend dao dApp with 158 users.
• Weekly chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol users, which has most increasing trend among dApps, we can see that other dApps has also increasing trend with some spikes on their time line in which on third week of April 2022 the highest number of users recorded on it for orca"owner" dApp with 248 users.
• Monthly chart shows us that if we don’t consider uxdprotocol users , which has most increasing trend among dApps and had its most numbers on October 2022 with 296 users, we can see that other dApps had increasing trend towards late months of 2022, and on April 2022 the highest number of users recorded on it for orca"owner" dApp with 264 users.
• Yearly chart shows us that on 2021 we had lowest activity on these dApps with 321 users on that year in which grape with 157 users had most portion of them. on 2022 we had increasing in number of unique users in which it increased to 3,429 and uxdprotocol with 1,046 had most portion of unique user numbers on 2022.

Conclusion

Uxdprotocol and Grape has majority of activity among extracted dApps which means most volume and most number of transactions and most users are belongs to these dApps, and majority of these dApp’s activity was recorded during 2022 but other dApps also were active on 2021.

Other than Uxdprotocol and Grape we see that these dApps were impactful among dApps with having considerable portion of transaction, volume and user activities which are orca"owner" / solend dao / metaplex dao"owner".
