Liquid, Stake and liquid to staked OSMO change since January 2022

• 362 million OSMO liquid and 87.9 million OSMO are staked currently, so the OSMO liquid-to-staked ratio is 4.11.
• We can see that the liquid-to-staked ratio of OSMO is increasing until May 2022. Still, after this date, we can see a decreasing trend in this ratio over time until October 2022, when it started to increase and had a sudden spike since mid-January 2023, because the staked OSMO amount has dramatically reduced while the liquid staking amount was increasing.
• Also, we can see that as the OSMO price falls, the liquid-to-staked ratio rises until mid-May 2022, but there has been a direct relationship between them since then, and the current rise in the OSMO price coincided with the all-time high in the liquid-to-staked ratio.

About this dashboard (Investigating the Activity of Osmosis Wallets)

• Using the Flipsidecrypto database, we want to take a look at the balance of Osmosis wallets to analyze the change in the liquid to staked OSMO ratio over time. In addition, we will investigate and compare the top 100 current OSMO holders as of the beginning of 2022. Furthermore, we will attempt to plot the current average OSMO per wallet and average OSMO/wallet versus user growth in order to understand how those values have changed over time. Finally, we will investigate whether the wallets normally hold a majority of OSMO or another token and the change of token shares over time.

Methodology

• First, we will try to find information about liquid, staked, and liquid-to-staked ratios and their effective parameters on them; then, we will take a look at Top OSMO holders today, and at the beginning of 2022, after that, we will focus on new users and average OSMO amount and finally, we will try to find most popular assets holding by Osmosis users.

We will limit our data since beginning of 2022.
