AAVE and stAAVE movements on Ethereum Mainnet
In this analysis, I create visualizations in term of Daily AAVE supplied and withdrawn on Aave protocol & Daily AAVE staked and unstaked.
What is AAVE?
Aave is a decentralised non-custodial liquidity market protocol where users can participate as depositors or borrowers. Borrowers have the option of borrowing in an overcollateralized (perpetually) or undercollateralized (one-block liquidity) method, while depositors offer liquidity to the market in exchange for passive income.
AAVE serves as the focal point for governing the AAVE Protocol. Voting and decision-making for AAVE Improvement Proposals take place through AAVE (AIPs). In addition, AAVE can be staked inside the protocol Safety Module to give the protocol and depositors security and insurance. The protocol pays staking rewards and fees to stakers.
In order to visualize the AAVE supplied and withdrawn on Aave protocol, I used the table “flipside_prod_db.aave.deposits” and “flipside_prod_db.aave.withdraws”. The key to identify is “symbol” = AAVE.
In order to visualize the AAVE staked and unstaked, I used the table “ethereum.core.fact_token_transfers”. The key to identify are “origin_function_signature” and “contract_address”. Based on the sample transaction, we can see that if “origin_function_signature” = 0xadc9772e, it shows staking. If “origin_function_signature” = “0x1e9a6950”, it shows unstaking. The contract_address must be “0x4da27a545c0c5b758a6ba100e3a049001de870f5”, a contract address of (stkAAVE)
