In this dashboard, I use terra.validator_voting_power and terra.gov_vote to investigate the last 30 days of governance/voting power.
I break down small voting power addresses to large voting power addresses by the following:
- Addresses with less than 99999 voting power
- Addresses with 100000-999999 voting power
- Addresses with more than 1000000 voting power
And the following counts were made:
<99999 || 26 addresses
100000-999999 || 37 addresses
1000000+ || 63 addresses
Additionally, the top 10 validator's voting power alone makes up 42.84% of total voting power. See the data below.
For a governance system, it can seem relatively lopsided but I believe it is actually fairly well spread out - especially given the metrics above comparing lower addresses to higher.
I also added the number of voters for each proposal ID, as well as the number of voting power designated for each proposal ID for some extra info! It is neat to see what proposals weigh much more than others. Proposal ID 82 for instance has the highest number of voters + voting power. While 78 has the 2nd highest number of voters, but a relatively smaller amount of voting power.
