Autonolas (Olas) is an open-source platform for building decentralized autonomous services using agents. Governance relies on locking OLAS tokens to receive veOLAS, which grants voting rights. Currently, 162.2 million OLAS are locked by 91 unique holders. A spike in governance activity occurred in February 2024, highlighting fluctuating participation. Token distribution shows concentration among a few holders, creating governance risks, and holders are categorized into Small (>=10000 locked $OLAS) , Medium (BETWEEN 10001 AND 100000 locked $OLAS), and Large tiers (>=100000 locked $OLAS) to understand power dynamics.
This analysis helps in understanding the current health of Autonolas' governance, the distribution of power among holders, and the overall participation of the community.
