Flipside Data Latency ⏱️
Transparency report on Flipside Crypto's data latency across all provided blockchains.
Flipside Crypto offers easy access to a number of blockchains for analytical purposes. As such, the data is not intended to be used for live, up-to-the-minute, purposes. The intent behind this dashboard is to provide transparency into the latency in our tables. Specific details on intended latency can be found in the drill-down tabs for each ecosystem or blockchain.
In this dashboard, the live views are updated every 3 hours, and the 72h average views are set to refresh once daily. On the back-end, we are collecting snapshots once every hour, on the :30. Logged in Flipside users can update the charts in this dashboard by pressing the refresh button in the top right corner.
Definitions
- The present data latency charts include info for the top 2 levels of activity
top_level
=fact_blocks
andfact_transactions
event_level
= all event tables (this may be events, logs, messages, receipts, or msg attributes, depending on chain)- These are expected to be the most closely aligned with chainhead or intended latency
The above, historical view, shows the average latency (in mins) across each chain/category over the past 72h, this is intented to be an expectation to benchmark the live latency against. A 72-hour window was decided, rather than an all time average, to compare somewhat like timelines.
Roadmap
- The curated tables and views for each chain will be added, in time.
