BasePaint is an art project to celebrate the launch of Base. Artists collaborate on a shared pixel-art canvas. Every 24 hours, this canvas is minted as an open-edition NFT. After the OE mint period, contributing artists are paid out from the Open Edition mint proportionally, based on the number of pixels they painted.
