So what is gALGO3? simply, you can lock your ALGO to folk finance and mint 1:1 gALGO3 that can be used across Defi in Algorand; just like what Marinade does for SOL! What are we looking for? Daily amount and number of transactions to and from gALGO3, DEXs that are host to gALGO3, and top Assets swapping to and from gALGO3. Let's begin!

Lets say certain amount of gALGO3 are being minted everyday (which is true), now how much are being swapped in other assets? with how many transactions? Or let's say you don't want to lock your algo, you just want to buy and use it for any possible case, now how much and how many? next two charts answer these questions accurately:

There are two notable dates on chart which saw a significant rise in volume, what can possibly be the reason? For April 13th my guess is that it is related to launch of algo/gALGO3 reward pool in pactfi which is part of aenas program. but i couldn't find an y reason for April 25th.

Next two chart shows that gALGO3 is on two DEX - Tinyman and Pactfi. you can see daily volume for each DEX to and from gALGO.

I wanted to see what assets are available to swap in and out of gALGO3 and surprisingly found out that only ALGO and Yieldly currently have pools and latter is neglectable.

gALGO3 and Folks Finance are in their very early stages and surly there is a lot of potentials in developing these kind of financial tools which increases your exposure to market in a positive manner. but we should see how these use cases grow and how much users are willing to adopt to these new possibilities.
