We all know that Defi owes everything to Degens, and liquidity providing is their favorite action. Block chains have different mechanisms of rewarding liquidity providers to keep the incentivized and interested. Thorchain, for example, pays them with block rewards and transactions fees. now we want to see how numbers are looking at different number of liquidity providers and their maintenance in system.

Let's Start with a list of all unique wallet that had ever provided liquidity in Thorchain. Number is 21279.

It's been a year since thorchain started and it's the perfect time to evaluate different metrics over this time period. so as question demands, we will divide these addresses based on their first attempt to provide liquidity and group them by their time of first attempt.

As it is obvious, last two month brought many new liquidity providers to thorchain which is very promising for it's future.

Keeping the monthly format, in the next two chart we demonstrated how many of these providers are still active as provider, also how many of them are providing more than 10K. it is interesting that a lot of people that provide liquidity for the first time in April 2022 have left already.

concluded from last chart, we can see that 29.5% total are still liquidity providers and 8.5% are providing over 10K.
