Onboarding To StarkWare

StarkNet is a layer-2 chain that ensures interoperability with Ethereum mainnet. People are using it to move real ETH to starknet and enjoy its higher speed of transaction and lower fees. Today we are going to see how many users are using starknet bridge to deposit and withdraw ETH...

    Introduction

StarkNet is one of Ethereum L2 solutions which uses ZK-Rollup technology to provide a permissionless and unlimited scaling layer for dApps to deploy. You can use starkNet official bridge to move ETH in and Out of StarkWare network. Right now, they are mostly focused on building the best technology and some good dApps are deploying in testnet phase on starkWare.

    Data & Analysis

StarkNet bridge is live on mainnet and users are bridging ETH in and out of StarkWare everyday; Although this amount is capped and increased occasionally. We are going to investigate into the most basic stats of interaction with StarkNet, Meaning it's number of users and the amount they deposited or withdrawn since it went live.

We'll start with deposits and depositors:

    Conclusion

Overall it seems that people are more willing to bridge into StarkNet and are not in haste to bridge back their ETH as depositors are 18k and only 605 users withdrawn from starknet. Although the withdrawn amount and accounts were increasing recently, but this didn't have a intelligible effect on raising chart of deposited ETH. We can expect this numbers to be a lot higher when cap is gone and more dApps start to run on StarkWare Mainnet
