Introduction:

This a Bounty by Flipsidecrypto, asking us to define who is an active user and how many of them are on a daily, monthly and annual time base. in other words, we want to see if users became more active overtime or not?

Methodology:

Flipside database provides different tables that each can be a useful source to determine wallet activity; NFT_Metadata, Swaps, msgs and Staking for example. But combining these would be an arduous job not fitting for this medium. instead I decided to use transactions table which fairlu consists of most forms of on-chain interaction with Block Chain. I chose 1 transaction For daily basis, 7 for Weekly, 30 for Monthly and overall number of 100 transaction in one year as the criteria for being an active wallet.

Beginning with annual performance, we can see a huge increase in number of active wallets in 2021 comparing to 2020 and it is justified since Terra is not long rooted in 2020, but the interesting point is that 2022, although we are just in may, is fairly competing with 2021 and will soon surpass it.

Looking at Monthly and Weekly Charts, we can see this increase more clearly as it completely resonates with current year.

Daily Chart shows exactly when this upraising occurred and significant it was: 2.5x in just 4 days!

It is obvious that more and more people are coming to terra everyday and they are getting more engaged and use the network on a daily basis.
