What is Cosmos?

Cosmos (ATOM) is a cryptocurrency that powers an ecosystem of blockchains designed to scale and interoperate with each other. The team aims to "create an Internet of Blockchains, a network of blockchains able to communicate with each other in a decentralized way." Cosmos is a proof-of-stake chain.

What is Axelar?

Axelar provides a decentralized network and tools that help connect dApp builders with multiple blockchain ecosystems, applications, and users for frictionless cross-chain communication. Axelar consists of a protocol suite, tools, and APIs, designed to break down the barriers to cross-chain communication.

METHODOLOGY

While preparing this dashboard, basically 2 tables were used, these tables are as follows:

“osmosis.core.fact_liquidity_provider_actions” to get liquidity provider statistics.

“osmosis.core.fact_daily_balances” to get axl holders on osmo chain and their amount,transactions.

“osmosis.core.fact_transfers” , “axelar.core.fact_transfers” to get transfer statistics of axl users on osmo and axelar

I also use the contract address for the common pool of osmo and axes:

FINDINGS

The total number of axl buyers is 5040 and the total number of axl purchases is 21.1k.

Additionally, this 9.22M axl token was purchased.

The days with the highest purchases are September 27-28. A total of more than 1.8m axl tokens were purchased in these two days. And the number of users has reached 688.

When we look at the number of transactions, we see that the highest value was seen on September 28, and then the number of transactions started to decrease gradually.

FINDINGS

When we examine the holders in the last 1 month, we see that the majority of holders have sold their axl tokens in less than 1 day. The minimum holding period is 8-30 days.

Average holding time is 3.56 days. And when we examine the axl amounts by chains, we see that 99 percent of the axl token is on the axelar. Total 405.8M AXL.

In the balance classification, the most holders were between 10-100 AXL hold.

We can see that the most holders are those holding axl under 5 axl. And this has increased over time. Especially on September 26, a jumping point was realized and their number reached 1167 people.

The destination with the highest usd volume among these destination addresses was again osmo with a total of 5.59M USD and followed by ethereum with 3.3M USD.

The most used destination among destination addresses was OSMO.

CONCLUSION
