Cosmos & Delegation
What is Cosmos?
Heralded as an “Internet of blockchains” by its founding team, Cosmos aims to create a network of crypto networks united by open-source tools for streamlining transactions between them.
It’s this focus on customizability and interoperability that sets Cosmos apart from other projects.
Rather than prioritizing its own network, its goal is to foster an ecosystem of networks that can share data and tokens programmatically, with no central party facilitating the activity.
Each new independent blockchain created within Cosmos (called a “zone”) is then tethered to the Cosmos Hub, which maintains a record of the state of each zone and vice versa.
The Cosmos Hub, a proof-of-stake blockchain, is powered by its native ATOM cryptocurrency.

Digital asset delegation and staking
Many aspects of delegation are common across PoS protocols — though the process for each network can have its own specific nuances. To understand how delegation functions within a PoS protocol, it’s helpful to make the distinction between proof of work (PoW) mining and PoS validation.

FINDINGS
If we examine the core values of the selected proposal, this is the view we encounter:
The ones who voted the most were regular users and they voted on the second day.
Their total number is 60.6k and when we look at the total votes, normal users have the highest number, which is 66k.
Compared to other proposals, the proposal has 82 voters one click above average. Especially after proposal 82, the number of voters started to decrease. It was low before, but with proposal 82, it has increased a bit.
FINDINGS
There are a total of 56.2k yes votes for the maximum yes vote. And there are 49.6k voters. These values cover an average of 77 percent of all voters and voters.
When we examine the vote changers, we see that the most vote changes are for 'From Yes to No With Veto'. A total of 3374 people changed their votes in this way. And this number corresponds to more than 50 percent of voters. In addition, when we examine the voting frequency, the highest voting frequency is voting once. Secondly, there are those who voted twice.
FINDINGS
Finally, when we examine the atom volumes, we see that the average number of staked atoms is mostly in the 'No With Veto' option. Its average value is 1012 ATOMs. The second highest value is found in the 'Abstain' option.
When we examine the balance of the voters, the balance of the majority is less than 10 ATOM. A total of 13.7k people are in this segment.
