Infamous 82
General Stats of Proposal 82
Governance Overview
The Cosmos Hub ("Gaia") has an on-chain governance mechanism for passing text proposals, changing consensus parameters, and spending funds from the community pool.
This repository provides background information on these different kinds of proposals and best-practices for drafting them and proposing them on-chain. It also provides a place for collaborating on draft proposals in plain text on Github.
If you'd like to draft a proposal, start here. See the contents below for more background on the governance system, the different types of proposals, and how to submit one.
What is Cosmos?
The Cosmos blockchain was developed to facilitate communication between distributed ledgers without relying on a centralized server. The Cosmos white paper was published in 2016, and the network was soon regarded as the Internet of blockchains by its founders who wanted to create an interoperable platform of open-source blockchains that could streamline transactions between them.
Since the inception of blockchain, interoperability has been a challenging task for developers.
Interoperability is what enables communication between two or more systems. Think of emails from a Gmail account communicating with a Hotmail one. Or, an Android phone that is allowed to share data with Apple’s iOS.
Single structures are created first, like in the case of a specified blockchain. Still, it’s necessary to get the systems to communicate. Otherwise, they’re not of much use and may represent a barrier to technology adoption.
Cosmos is the first entirely free platform to enable interoperability between different systems including Binance Chain, Terra and Crypto.org, to name a few, with over $151 billion of digital assets under management.
Cosmos (ATOM) is the cryptocurrency that powers and secures the ecosystem of blockchains designed to scale and interoperate between one another.
Proposal Comparison
FINDINGS
When we examine the users who changed their votes, 88 percent of those who changed their votes changed their vote only once, and the number of these people is 38.
The maximum number of votes users re-voted by changing their votes was 'NO'. These are 15 people in total.
In addition, when we combine the number of vote changes and the decisions they took, the majority of those who voted 'NO' gave the first decision change.
When we analyze the vote changers according to their balances, the whales cover a very small part of the vote changers (%0.8).
And the whales don't have a specific choice of choice, roughly the same number of choices they choose.
The most decision changes occurred on balances less than 10-100 $ATOM.
FINDINGS
When we examine the voting statistics, we see that the proposal has 82 values close to the average. While the number of people who voted was quite average, the number of votes remained a little low.
Also, the average votes per voter value is 1.15.
We can say that it is slightly lower than other proposals.
FINDINGS
When we compare the recent proposals in the time period of proposal 82, the proposal that received the most votes and voters with slight differences was proposal 82. The proposal with the highest number of votes and votes was 77. Proposal 82, on the other hand, fell slightly behind in this ranking.
FINDINGS
According to the data we obtained, the most voted option of the proposal 82 was 'YES' and proposal 82 has a total of 1808 votes. In addition, there are a total of 1084 people who voted 'YES'. The ratio is not 1:1 because the votes of the validator and regular voters are counted differently.

Methodology
The tables I used while preparing this dashboard are as follows:
FACT_GOVERNANCE_VOTES I used this table to get the main vote and voter information.
FACT_DAILY_BALANCES I used this table to calculate the ATOM balance of the users.
FACT_GOVERNANCE_PROPOSAL_DEPOSITS I used this table to find the ATOM volume deposited in the proposals.
CONCLUSION
The highest number of votes was given on the second day of voting, that is, on December 2.
The time period in which the majority of the votes are cast is between 17-19 on Thursday.
The majority of users who voted are low-balance accounts, with 75 percent of them under $5 ATOM.
When we compare Proposal 82 with other proposals, it has average values. It has the a little less votes and voters as most proposals.
Most of voters changed the vote to 'NO'. And 88 percent of the vote changers changed the vote only once. And again, the vote changers were mostly accounts 10-100 $ATOM.
