Native Bridges

From Ethereum to other networks: a comprehensive analysis of 13 native bridges

    Hi Everyone...

The dashboard you are looking at is the result of my several days of efforts to extract the most accurate and complete results from 13 network native bridges. These networks are:

    • zkSync Era
    • Polygon
    • Arbitrum
    • Optimism
    • zkSync Lite
    • StarkNet
    • Linea
    • Base
    • Aztec (this network does not have a native bridge, but deposits to this network were considered as a bridge.)
    • Polygon zkEVM
    • Arbitrum Nova
    • Zora
    • Public Goods Network

    This dashboard includes 3 sections:

Part 1 | "All Native Bridges at a Glance"

In this part, in an overview, I investigated the bridges from Ethereum mainnet through native bridges to these 13 networks. for this purpose:
    • In the first step, overall statistics of all bridge transactions were provided.

    • In the second step, the native bridges of each network were placed together to compare them with each other.

    • In the third step, the top bridge transactions were evaluated in terms of USD volume of bridges.

    • In the fourth step, distribution of users was done. For this purpose, the distribution of the total volume of USD bridges, the total number of bridge transactions and the total number of native bridges with which each bridge provider interacted was obtained.

    • In the fifth step, assets bridged from Ethereum mainnet to other networks were investigated.

    • In the sixth step, the top bridgers were determined in terms of the number of bridge transactions and the USD volume of the bridges.

Part 2 | "The Network Status That I am Looking For"

In this section, using the parameterization feature (thanks to Flipside for this feature), the native bridge of each network was investigated separately. In this section, you can use the parameterization feature of Flipside dashboards by logging into your Flipside account. Here, after logging in, you can select the desired network from the "Network" box and click on the "Apply all parameters" button. After a short wait for the queries to run, you will see the results presented for your desired network. But what was examined in this part are:
    • In the first step, overall statistics of all transactions were provided.

    • In the second step, the daily status of native bridge transactions was investigated.

    • In the third step, the top bridge transactions were evaluated in terms of USD volume of bridges.

    • In the fourth step, distribution of users was done. For this purpose, the distribution of the total volume of USD bridges, the total number of bridge transactions was obtained.

    • In the fifth step, the assets bridged from the mainnet of the Ethereum network to the desired network through its native bridge were checked.

    • In the sixth step, the top bridgers were determined in terms of the number of bridge transactions and the USD volume of the bridges.

Part 3 | "My Bridges: An Explorer"

In this part, I used the parameterization feature again, so that you can see the status of your wallet interacting with these 13 native bridges by entering your wallet address in the "My_Wallet_Address" box and clicking the "Apply all parameters" button. But what was examined in this part are:
    • In the first step, the overall statistics of all the transactions you have had are provided.

    • In the second step, the statistics of each of your bridge transactions are presented, which includes the time, assets, USD value and hash of your transactions.

    • In the third step, it is checked how much USD value your bridges to each network have been.

    • In the fourth step, a table is presented to show you how many times, how much USD volume and how many assets you have bridged to each network. A few donut charts also provide a comparison between the different networks that you have interacted with through their native bridge.

In the end, I ask all of you, dear audience, if you find this dashboard useful, and if you want to support me, like this dashboard at the top of the page and then interact (like, repost, quote and comment) ) support me with the tweet thread I have provided to present the results of this dashboard. ❤
