Aurora Contract Users
This analysis will delve into the interactions with the Aurora contract on the NEAR chain. We aim to explore the number of distinct users who have engaged with the Aurora contract. Furthermore, we will analyze the daily breakdown of contract interactions, user interactions, and unique user interactions.
Moreover, I compared the Aurora contract and other top contracts on the NEAR chain. Through this examination, we aim to identify any crossovers with Aurora and understand the activities of Aurora users on the NEAR chain.
Aurora is a solution that enables the execution of Ethereum contracts in a high-performance environment, specifically the NEAR blockchain. NEAR is a modern layer-1 blockchain known for its fast transaction finalization (2-3 seconds), scalability, and carbon-neutral operation.
Aurora itself is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) implemented as a smart contract on the NEAR Protocol.
In the NEAR blockchain, every transaction involves two sides: the sender and the receiver. In the context of NEAR, the sender is commonly referred to as the "Tx_signer," while the transaction receiver is known as the "Tx_receiver." To analyze the activities related to the Aurora contract on NEAR, I utilized the transaction table and filtered for transactions where Aurora was the receiver ("tx_receiver").
By filtering for Aurora as the receiver, I gained access to all the activities associated with this contract. I joined my findings with the transfer tables to investigate the transfer of NEAR tokens to the Aurora contract.
It's important to note that all charts in this dashboard are based on the amount of NEAR tokens transferred rather than their equivalent value in USDC.
In this dashboard, the term "New user" refers to the date of the first interaction of each user with the Aurora contract.
