Exploring AllDomains on Solana!

Introduction

In this analysis, You will read about Alldomains on Solana chain. AllDomains is a project that aims to establish and popularize various alternative name services, while also experimenting with diverse fee models. Consequently, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the following aspects within Alldomains:

Overview

Users

Let's begin with an overview of AllDomains without delving closely into the breakdown of domains. Since the beginning of the project, about 4.13K unique users have registered or claimed their domains, with an average of 7.7 domains per user. The highest number of users registered or claimed their domains between January and February 2023.

In the next tab, we will uncover the reasons behind the significant increase in the number of users.

Domains

Since the launch of Alldomains, those 4.1K unique users have purchased and claimed 37.4K unique domains. When the number of users increased between January and February 2023, it is obvious that the number of minted domains also increased.

However, after that time, the weekly number of minted domains dropped significantly.

Registeration Fees

Unlike the numbers of users and newly minted domains, the most money in fees was paid At the end of December 2022 and begining of January. In just one week, the total amount went up to 85K, which is around 75-80% of the whole amount.

Since the beginning, users altogether paid 126K US dollars. Each domain has its own price for getting minted, and we will learn more about that in the next section.
