Exploring the ARB Token On Osmosis
This analysis explores the ARB token, which has recently been listed on the Osmosis chain. The objective is to examine the influence of the ARB token on the Osmosis chain.
First, I studied the transfers from Arbitrum to the Osmosis chain, focusing on the ARB token. Next, I analyzed the swap activities involving the ARB token on Osmosis.
Lastly, I delved into Pool 1011, which consists of the ARB/OSMO pair, to understand the impact of incentives on ARB transfers.

The chart on the left illustrates the impact of the Incentive Pool on the volume.
It is evident that there was a significant increase in volume once the related proposal was passed.
Let's begin by examining the flow of transactions. Following the passing of the incentivized pool proposal for ARB/OSMO on May 14, there was an increase in the number of transactions to Osmosis.
However, the data indicate relatively low ARB users' engagement in transferring their ARBs to Osmosis. The total number of transactions peaked at 16 and overall transfer transactions since May 3 only amounted to 95 Tx.
Similar to the increase in transaction numbers, the transferred volume of ARB tokens to Osmosis experienced a short-term rise following the activation of the incentive pool proposal. Prior to the activation, the highest daily volume recorded was 11,000 US dollars. However, once the pool was activated, the total transferred volume surged to 38,000 US dollars. Unfortunately, this increase was short-lived, as the volume dropped again after just one day.
In total, users transferred 109,000 US dollars to Osmosis but only withdrew 14,000 US dollars from the platform.
Although the number of users and transactions was not particularly high, the transferred amount to Osmosis indicates that each user, on average, transferred approximately 1.2K US dollars.
Top Senders and Receivers
The table below presents the senders and receivers of ARB tokens on Osmosis.
Senders refer to addresses that transferred ARB tokens to Osmosis, while receivers are users who received ARB tokens on Osmosis.
The senders primarily consist of satellite bridge addresses that users use to transfer their ARB tokens. Notably, the highest volume of transfers originated from a single address. It is important to note that these transfers are facilitated through the Axelar Satellite bridge using the IBC feature, indicating cross-chain transfers.
On the other hand, the top receivers of ARB tokens on Osmosis received a total of 15,000 US dollars.
In this context, the term "New Users" refers to new users on the Osmosis chain in general, not specifically ARB users. From the data, it appears that most ARB users were new to Osmosis and were using the platform for the first time.
In other words, it can be inferred that the introduction of the ARB token brought new users to the Osmosis chain.
