    What is Flow Speed?

Flow (FLOW) is a high-performance blockchain specifically for creating NFTs, massive crypto games, and apps. Unlike general-purpose blockchains such as Ethereum, Flow is built to efficiently scale for potentially billions of people interacting with NFTs like in-game items.

    Method

I used FACT_TRANSACTIONS and event tables to find the number of transactions and types. To understand charts, I drew a chart with a total number of transactions divided by 1440 to approach daily transactions per minute. The question asked about total and total success transactions. So I filtered my query with success transactions in comparison to the total number of transactions.

    Total Minutely Transactions

The below chart shows the total minutely transactions on Flow since 2002-05-09. As you can see most of the time total number of successful transactions is near to the total number of transactions. It means more transactions caused more successful transactions. But there were some days that transactions decreased blockchain's performance. For example on May 31st, The total number of transactions was 2576 but only 339 of that transactions were successful.

The cumulative chart shows until May 27th, The network performance was good but after that time the difference between the total number of transactions and successful transactions increased. That means the theory of Flow didn't work well after May 27th.

I divided the total number of transactions by 1440 to find out the number of transactions per minute for each day. The total number of transactions and successful transactions were similar to each other until May 24th. But after that time, day by day, the difference increased until May 31st. Again after that time, the difference decreased.

The below chart shows the total number of transactions per day on Flow, Ethereum, and Algo blockchains. As you can see, some days, The total number of successful transactions on Flow increased and the difference between Flow and other blockchains decreased. For Example, On May 15th, 760K in Ethereum, 682K in Algo, and 260K transactions in Flow but On May 22nd, FLow transactions increased to 427K in comparison to 800K in Algo and 700K in Ethereum.

In this analysis, You will read about Flow Speed. One of Flow's main features is its speed compared to other blockchains. Blockchain performance can be measured as Transactions per minute. I Measured the transactions per minute of Flow since May 9th and 'Successful transactions per minute' and created a chart showing how that metric fluctuated during that time period.

What types of events have raised or decreased the blockchain's performance over that time period? Are there bursts of transaction volume or interest on the chain? Compare Flow's speed to Ethereum and Algorand.

The below chart shows the total number of transactions per minute based on events. In my opinion Deposits, FeesDeducated and tokenDeposited events caused increasing and decreasing Flow Performances.

    Conclusion

I can conclude from this analysis that Flow has work to do to reach its goal which is Speed. We can see that on some days Flow proves its speed but on the other hand there were some days that prove the opposite of it. The growth in comparison to Ethereum and Algorand was good. Again some good days and some bad days,
