Memecoins and the market

In this analysis, you will learn about a recently launched popular Memecoin that has once again gained popularity in the crypto market, similar to two years ago. This analysis focuses primarily on Memecoins based on the Ethereum blockchain.

Our objective is to examine the price growth of these Memecoins over the past month and assess their performance in the market. Additionally, we aim to investigate the liquidity of these Memecoins by identifying the sources from which they originated and where it has been directed in the recent month.

The following charts and table display the growth percentage at the highest price and the number of days it took to reach the all-time high (ATH) price for various coins.

Based on this data, Bob and Pepe had the highest growth rates, and both took 15-19 days to reach their ATH after their respective launches.

Following the all-time high (ATH) prices, I analyzed the current status of these tokens.

All of them experienced a significant decline since the previous week. Notably, Pepe and Bob had the highest growth rates and saw their prices drop by 56-76%. Surprisingly, this decline occurred within just 6 days of reaching their ATH. Among these Memecoins, Bonk suffered the most significant drop, plummeting by 89%. It is worth mentioning that Bonk experienced a surge in popularity approximately three months ago.

Using the price tables of Ethereum and Solana, I collected the price data for new Memecoins. I specifically gathered the all-time low (ATL) prices, which represent the prices at the time of their launch, and the all-time high (ATH) prices. Utilizing the Datediff function, I calculated the number of days between the ATL and ATH prices, along with the growth and decrease percentages.

I analyzed the swap activities involving these Memecoins over the past 45 days to examine liquidity provision. This involved studying the swaps from other tokens to the selected Memecoins and tracking the selling activities of these Memecoins to other tokens.

Additionally, I investigated transfers involving centralized exchanges (CEXs). By extracting data from the Label tables, I identified the CEXs involved in transferring these tokens and monitored the transfers between the Memecoins and the CEXs.

Lastly, I closely monitored user activities to identify the destinations of Memecoins holders, providing insights into where they were transferring or moving their Memecoins.
