Quix (Optimism) Vs. Startos (Arbitrum)

    Introduction

    • In this dashboard, You will read about two popular NFT marketplaces on Optimism and Arbitrum. Quix on Optimism and Startos on Arbitrum.
    • These two marketplaces are new to the crypto world and started their journey lately. I compared these two layer2 NFT marketplaces together. It’s too soon to compare these marketplaces with Marketplaces on the Ethereum chain like Opensea or Looksrare. I went through both markets and analyzed these parameters:
    • Transactions
    • Volume in USD
    • Buyers and Sellers
    • Collections and NFTs
    • Users Breakdown
    • Top Collections
    • Days of the Week

Analyzed by Hess - Reading Time Almost 12 Min.

    Method

    • Arbitrum tables are not complete on Flipside yet. We don’t have the exact table for Arbitrum NFTs mint and sales on Flipside, Because NFTs on Arbitrum are new. So I had to make a custom table for NFTs on Arbitrum from the Fact event table. I chose Stratos marketplace on Arbitrum. This marketplace is one of the most popular markets on Arbitrum.

    • First, I read Stratos Marketplace and did transactions on Startos. I’ve bought Robonout NFT on Startos:

    • Second, I looked up my transaction in the Face event table. I extracted transactions, Buyers, Sellers, Collections and NFT from that table. Then, Joined my findings into the transaction table to extract the sales amount. After that, I needed the sales amount in USD. I extracted the ETH price from Ethereum hourly table. After that, I calculated the sales amount in USD.

    • Now, I have a complete table for the Startos marketplace.

    • Quix data is available under the Optimism NFT sales table. All I needed was to extract the same things as Startos.
