What is Aave?

Aave is a decentralized lending protocol that lets users lend or borrow cryptocurrency without going to a centralized intermediary. Users deposit digital assets into "liquidity pools," which become funds that the protocol can lend out.

What is the AAVE Token?

AAVE is the native governance token of the Aave protocol. Holders of the Ethereum-based cryptocurrency can discuss and vote on proposals that affect the direction of the project. Due to Aave being one of the leading decentralized finance protocols, the AAVE token is one of the largest DeFi coins by market cap.

What is the AAVE Staking?

Staking consists of depositing your AAVE tokens within the protocol Safety Module. The purpose of staking is to act as a mitigation tool in case of a shortfall event. As an incentive for this, Safety Module stakers will receive Safety Incentives.

Methodology

This dashboard will breakdown the loan, deposit, and flashloan activity of Aave users. To see the activity of a user, put their address in the AAVE_User box on the top left of the page and then click the “Apply All Parameters“ on the top right of the page. if graphs are taking long to load or show up blank the given users have not participated in the activity the graph is visualizing.
