What is Terra 2?

The blockchain's founder and CEO Do Kwon launched Terra 2.0 as a part of LUNA's revival plan. Terra 2.0 serves as a fork of the original Terra blockchain, as the original LUNA token is renamed Luna Classic (LUNC).

What is Apollo Safe?

Apollo Safe is our multisig frontend for the CW3 contract, providing an easy to use multisig for Cosmos, initially launched on Terra and now coming to Osmosis and Injective for a governance vote.

Methodology

In this dashboard, we will look at the Apollo Safe deployment active and transfer activity of safes that have been created. we will also break up safe transfer activity by the number of signers. The data for this dashboard will come from the terra.core tables of the Flipsides database.

Multsig Deployment Activity

Observations

• About 60% of all deployed multi-sig with Apollo Safe are two-wallet multi-sig
• Other than a 2 person multi-sig 3 and 5 people are the most popular
• There have been only 4 safes deployed with over 9 signers
• The majority of safes were launched in the summer of 2022

Multsig Transaction Activity

Observations

• The activity of multi-sig wallets has been consistently declining since August in terms of transfer events
• There have only been 4 days where over 1 million LUNA was transferred by Apollo Safes
• In total, the 107 Apollo Sqafes have transferred 36 Million LUNA

Multsig Transaction Activity by Wallet Type

Observations

• In terms of Transfer events the 2 and 5 people, Multi-sigs make up the vast majority of Apollo safe transfer events
• In terms of volume, the 5 person multi-sigs make almost all of the Apollo Safe volume on terra 2
• Each wallet that has deployed an Apollo multi-sig as deployed almost 2 on average.
