Art Blocks is an Ethereum-based platform that offers programmable and unique generative art NFTs that collectors can invest in. Art Blocks NFTs are created through a custom generative minting technology, giving each piece a distinct and random look.

What are NFT marketplaces?

A NFT marketplace is a blockchain-based online platform to sell and buy non-fungible tokens.

Methodology

in this dashboard we will look at the sales of artblock NFTs on the secondary market. this selling will be broken down by artist, collection size and buyer. The data for this dashboard comes from the ethereum.core tables of Fliside’s database.

Observations

• In total there has been $1.3 billion worth of Artblock Sales at an average price of $6,840
• The Average price of an Artblocks NFT has been declining since fall 2021
• Art Blocks was the most active in July and August of 2021
