The period between May 8th - May 13th was a busy week for Osmosis governance. What was the community response like to these proposals? How quickly did these proposals hit quorum compared to the last two months of proposals? What was the voter turnout for these proposals vs the last two months of proposals?

What is Osmosis?

Osmosis is a decentralized peer-to-peer blockchain that people can use to create liquidity and trade IBC enabled tokens. The Osmosis blockchain is made up of free, public, and open-source software.

How does Osmosis governace work?

Staked OSMO holders are eligible to vote on governance proposals the power of their vote is proportional to their OSMO Staked.

We are going to look at the recent OSMO governance actions.
We are looking to see how OSMO governance reacted to the collapse of Terra.

Governance Reaction Metrics

Observations

Between May 13th and May 16th there were over 20,000 Govenace votes.
Proposal 222 and 226 were the most voted on proposals in the past 2 weeks.

Conclusion

The two most popular proposals in the past 2 weeks were both having to do with redusing the Osmosis netorks exposure to the depegging of the UST token. This is important becuse Osmosis had a lot of UST in their liquidty pools..
