    What is Uniswap?

    Uniswap is a dex build on both the ethereum and polygon blockchain. The dex facilitates automated transactions between erc20 tokens using smatcontracts. UNI is the native token of the Uniswap dex and can be used to vote on Uniswap governance proposals.

    What is curve

    Curve is a stablecoing focused dex that specializes in stable swaps. The native token of the Curve ecosystem is CRV.

    Methodology

    • We are going to look at the USDC-USDT and USDC-DAI swaps on both Curve and uniswapV3.

    • We are looking to see which platform is used most to swap major stablecoins.

    Conclusion

    • For both DAI-USDC and USDT-USDC the number of swaps on uniswap are much higher than the swaps on Curve.

    • Excluding major spikes in Curve swap volume uniswap has more volume than Curve most days for both stablecoin pools

    • Although the Curve pools have much greater TVL than the uniswap ones theer swap and volume are consistently behind.
