FLOW Usage During the NBA Playoffs
Here we have some charts showing the sales for TopShot over NBA playoffs from May 17 to 29.
The above chart shows the volume of sales and the number of buyers and we see the volume of sales is at highest point on May 19. 826k is the volume of sales on this day, but seeing the number of buyers we see a drop on that date. 4.6k buyers are on that day while the number of buyers on days around it was around 6k.
Number of buyers decreased from May 20 till 24 where we see 3.6k buyers. The sales volume don’t have that sharp drop.
The buyers increased on next day on May 25 and there were 5.4k buyers but and we see around 15k increase in the volume of sales. And that drop in the number of buyers continued until May 29 that had the least number of buyers with 2.7k buyers, and also the least volume of sales with 237k USD.
Total sales volume of TopShot on these days was 5.52M USD.
Considering the sales volume for each team we see the sales for these teams increase until May 22 and then started going down.
On may 22 around 90k USD was the sale volume for these 4 team items and The Warriors had the most sales with around 30M. The number of buyers was 5k.
After that the sales volume went down until May 29 that had around 16k sales which is the lowest on the chart.
The highest sales for a team in a day is for Warriors on May 22 and then Mavericks on May 25.
