NBA Playoff Usage
NBA playoff games started from Apr 16th and in this dashboard we are going to take a loot at some charts to see if this events had any effect on the number of transactions on Flow and number of sales for TopShot collection.
Note that we don't have access to data before Apr 20th so we'll asses from that date onwards.
The number of transactions on Flow started around 250k to 500k daily and the general trends seems upward over time. Few spikes we have on the chart are on dates with NBA matches, like May 6th and 9th which some matches from round 2 of playoffs were held. Or the spikes on May 30th and 31st which is the days after NBA semifinals, and also those spike on June 10th to 12th which is the date that some NBA finals are held in.
Let's see the number of TopShot collection sales next.
Here we see that the general trend of the chart was downward mostly. But there are some spikes on this chart as well. We see 2 spikes on May 6th and 9th which are the exact days on previous chart that had more sales. so we can say that spikes on the previous chart were caused by the increase in NFT sales.
We don't see that much of spikes in the number of sales when the final marches were held tho, maybe except Jun 6th which is the day after one of final matches.
But in overall, as I mentioned the general trend for TopShop sales was downward and after the season end the number of sales decreased even more.
