The below chart show the number of successful swap transactions per day on SushiSwap in both Optimism and Ethereum.

    As you can see:

    • The number of swap transactions is increasing on Optimism and decreasing on Ethereum.
    • The cumulative chart shows us the cumulative number of swap transactions on Ethereum by far more than Optimism.
    • The daily number of swap transactions in Ethereum shows us transactions on Optimism can be ignored.

    Conclusion:

    • one word better than lot’s chart : sushi in optimism still not used so much and other Dapps like Velodrome or UniSwap has better situation.
    • WETH is most used in both ethereum and optimism after that USDC has second place. also WETH/USDC pair is most used from volume and count
    • average generated fee doesn’t depend to daily swap count. and as data shows Optimism has much lower fee.
    • last 30 days we can devide two part.in first half number decreased but after that a status was.
    • optimism status are better during last 30 day but still be far lower than Eth version

The below charts show the top swapping to assets in terms of number of swap transactions and volume on Ethereum and Optimism

    Swap transaction size:

    As you can see:

    • USDC/WETH is the most popular swapping pair in terms of volume on Ethereum and Optimism.
    • USDC/WETH is the most popular swapping pair in terms of count on Ethereum and Optimism.

    As you can see:

    • WETH is the most popular swapping from asset in terms of volume on Ethereum and Optimism.
    • WETH is the most popular swapping from asset in terms of volume on Ethereum and Optimism.

    Volume of swap transaction

The below charts show the volume of swap transactions per day on each Optimism DEX.

    As you can see:

    • both average chart has same style and according layer to depend to layer one. seem layer two effected by this problem
    • as data show fee in these two chain doesn’t compareble and Optimism has much lower fee

    As you can see:

    • according decreasing number of transaction on Ethereum volume of fee generated is decreasing but in Optimism is increased,
    • The daily total fee of swap transactions in all Optimism shows us that Ethereum transactions more expensive than Optimism

    As you can see:

    • The volume of swap transactions is increasing on Optimism and but in Ethereum seem in last two week increasing while before that time was falling (based on 7-days moving average).
    • The cumulative chart shows us the cumulative volume of swap transactions on Ethereum is more than Optimism.. Optimism is in second place by a long distance from frist.
    • another parameter and againg: Optimmism transactions can be ignored compared to the rest.

    Fee of swap transactions:

The below charts show the total fee of swap transactions per day on each Optimism and Ethereum. The y-axis of all charts is $ETH.

These charts show the average and median swap size on Optimism and Ethereum.

As you can see the average size on Ethereum is much more than other Optimism, this is same for volume.

    What is SushiSwap?

SushiSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) equipped with its own custom automated market maker (AMM) smart contracts. Created by Chef Nomi, SushiSwap runs on the Ethereum blockchain.

Decentralized exchanges offer a space for peer-to-peer transactions of cryptocurrencies to take place securely without the need for an intermediary, and being equipped with its own AMM means that a pricing algorithm is used to price assets instead of using an order book like traditional exchanges.

SushiSwap is a community-run DeFi project that aims to better align incentives for network participants through revenue-sharing and community-driven network effects.

In this dashboard, we have tried to provide the following topics:

    • Number of swap transactions
    • Number of unique swappers
    • Volume of swap transactions
    • Fee of swaps transactions
    • Size of swap transactions
    • Top swapping pairs
    • Top swapping from assets
    • Top swapping to assets

    Question

    • How is user behavior different on Optimism compared to L1?
    • comparison between swaps and transactions on ETH mainnet vs Optimism, looking for things like daily swap volume, daily active users, and average volume swapped (use a single DEX for your comparison, either Uniswap or Sushiswap).
    • L2 is far cheaper, but by how much? What are the average fees for a swap on Optimism compared to ETH Mainnet?

    Introduction

i decide to compare sushiswap metric in both ethereum and optimism. to show the path i listed topics that i want to compare

som time in passage i say ethereum or optimism it mean sushiswap on optimism or sushiswap on ethereum

The below charts show the number of unique swappers that made successful transactions per day on Optimism and Ethereum.

    I should mention that:

To show cumulative unique swappers, I used min(block_timestamp) for ignoring frequent users.

New users are those who register their first transaction on the platform. To show the cumulative of them, I acted similar to what I did to show a cumulative of unique swappers.

    As you can see:

    • The number of unique swappers in Optimism is increasing but this volume is so low. in other side seem unique swapper in Ethereum seem decreasing.
    • the number of new user and unique user transactions can be ignored compared to the Ethereum.
    • The number of new users on Ethereum is much higher than sushi but this gap is lower than other metrics.
    • must of wallet do transaction in Optimism are new user.

The below charts show the average fee of swap transactions per day on each Optimism DEX.
