Intro

Let’s investigate the main bridge. That is the Polygon Plasma deposits with around 250k transactions since inception. For the data we use the new Polygon data from the polygon.scheme. This data is being backfilled and is currently till June 6.

⬅️ The top products after bridging are by far Hop, Quickswap, Metamask and Aave as well as openSea.

If we look at these destination but per day, we see that hop and quick are by far the top destinations in and out. Hop suggests that users are using the main bridge as a subsidy. Meta mask is also getting constant volume.

⬇️ The top activity for all time Polygon bridge users is using the hop to bridge to L2. This is followed by Quickswap and interestingly after this, private accounts.

Hop really dominates the whole Summer as the protocol of coice for the early users

Conclusion

Hop is by far the most favourite protocol. After this Quickswap and probably metamask swapping. Aave, the ETH lending & borrowing platform is the 4th biggest interestingly
