Open Analytics Vol. II: Environmental Impact Study

    Introduction

    • about DEIP :Web 3.0 protocols, tools and, applications for the creator economy

    • about near:Near Protocol is a decentralized application (DApp) platform that focuses on usability among developers and users. As a competitor of Ethereum, NearProtocol is also smart-contract capable and a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain.

    • On October 8, 2021, the deep team announced their cooperation with the near protocol

    Purposes of dashboard

in this dashboard I want to analysis the DEIP activity and compare it with NEAR protocol.

    1. number of user divide by monthsince first of the year
    2. total transaction
    3. total users
    4. activity by deip users BAR
    5. activity by deip users PIE
    6. increasing number of and total users

    • in the above two chart the number of DEIP users was more in May than in other months, and then it started to decrease, but it seems to have started its upward trend since September.
    • The highest number of transactions is related to the month of May with a percentage of 42.3 and the number of 16.6 k and the lowest is related to the month of June with a percentage of 5.96 and the number of 1883

    • in the above two chart
    • As you can see in the above graph, the number of users in NEAR is much more than DEIP, and after this part I want to analyze the total number of users.
    • In this graph, as you can see, the number of transactions increases until January and then decreases and starts to increase again from March until May and then decreases again and then very much in August. The number of users increases for two days and I think the upward trend is about to start again
    • It seems that the increase of users has an effect on each other, for example, there was an increase in both May and September
    • As you can see in the chart, the effect of DEIP on NEAR is very small due to the small number of users.

    • As expected, the number of transactions in DEIP should be much less than NEAR because DEIP users are much less than NEAR, and it is normal that when the number of users decreases, the number of transactions also decreases.
    • I have chosen DEIP for this because it is said in this bounty that the number of transactions and the amount of selected token are not important

According to these two charts that show the number of near and deip users, we come to the conclusion that the number of near users is more than DEIP.

    • In this part, I will analyze the activity of DEIP workers. According to the above chart, FunctionCall activity is much more than others, so it can be concluded that FunctionCall activity affects DEIP activity. The sequence of the above four activities is the first FunctionCall, the second is AddKey and Transfer, and the last one is DeployContract. And the activity known as "FunctionCall" is mostly done by DEIP users

    • the charts displays the number of monthly new users that add to the NEAR network, as you see in the graph the orange bars represent people who began using the DEIP token and interact with it, and in the other side as you see blue bars represent the total number of new users on near network and as you see because of this point their number is very large
    • According to the chart, it can be seen that there is a significant increase in the number of new users in September, so that in September, approximately 2.2 million new users were added, with an average of 70k users added daily.
    • and by this amount we can see that near 1% of them related to the DEIP and we see that at the end the daily volume has started to increase following the significant surge. and as you know at the end this large number can impact of the sweat and by analysis I can say that Since the token's debut in the NEAR network, there has been a significant overall increase in the number of new users.

General conclusions from the above charts

The number of DEIP users is very less than the total number of users

Both total and DEIP daily charts are the same.

The effect of NEAR users on DEIP and again the effect of DEIP user on NEAR, but as you can see in the graph, the effect of DEIP on NEAR is very small due to the small number of users.

The number of transactions in NEAR is again more than DEIP and we expected this from the number of users.

The number of whales in DEIP is very low, we understand this from the analysis of the transaction graph and users.

The activity known as "FunctionCall" is mostly done by DEIP users.

FunctionCalls activity is close to 100% (it was less than 1%).

The number of new users has increased significantly, reaching 2.2 million users in September, which is an average of approximately 70k users added per day.

At the end of the day volume has started to increase following significant movement.

Analyzing the total amount, I see that nearly 1% of the total protocol is related to DEIP
