Given that the Polygon database tables have not yet been completed on FlipsideCrypto, to find NFT trading transactions, we looked for records in the polygon.core.fact_event_logs table whose events are of the Transfer type (with the MATIC transferred value greater than zero) and it must contain event_inputs:tokenId.

Important Tip

• Due to the incompleteness of the Avalanche database data, we can’t have a yearly activity and only 40 days before submitting this analysis are considered in this dashboard .

In the following charts, we’re gonna see:

• Daily number of NFT trades on Polygon for the past month
• Daily number of NFT trades on Polygon for the past year (again note that the database is incomplete)
• Daily NFT sales volume in MATIC for the past month
• The number of users started off their journey in Polygon (as sellers and purchasers)
• Top 20 users activity in Polygon NFTs

The peak on number of trades was on July 4th with 2024 trades and from that date the daily trades were decreasing in general.

This one was a bit tricky for me to answer that how many users started off their journey in NFTs on Polygon, so I went to calculate how many addresses had a successful sell or purchase from the marketplace and this is what I have obtained.

And on the last part of my analysis I went for taking a look at the top 20 most active users in terms of trade count. Here are what I have found.
