Sushi Activity on Ethereum

In this dashboard, we're gonna analyze that how the recent spike in market volatility affected the overall activity of sushi on Ethereum, by diving into both swaps and lendings.

First, let's look at daily swap volume on sushiswap platform. I have used the USD amount so the volume is clearer.

As we can see, the swap volume has been increasing since June 9th which is the date for sETH depeg, just at the same time that $ETH price was dumping, the $ETH was down by about 15% on June 13th and we can see a big spike in swapping volume.

I tried to analyze number of swap transactions in addition to volume. The spike is also clear here, on June 13th the transaction count was more that 2k up in comparison with the last day. Also the transaction number was increasing from June 9th.

I had a challenge with working on Sushi tables and that was I couldn't use volume for analyzing lending in sushi, there some null fields in Amount_usd column so I went for the number of daily lending transactions. I think since the data is imperfect on sushi tables, we can not find a good correlations between the events and lendings on Sushiswap.

The same here goes for borrowing too, although there is a spike in June 13th, the date that we saw swap volume peak.
