Introduction

In this dashboard we’ll compare how fast is NEAR against other L1 blockchains such as Avalanche, Ethereum and Solana, and we’ll also take into acount the difference between successful and failed transactions .

Methodology

The data queried shows the amount of transactions per minute grouped by day and also by status/result (success and failure), only for 2022 transactions on each of the four blockchains mentioned.

Results

Filtering by the Blockchain parameter above (selecting ‘Near’, ‘Avalanche‘, ‘Ethereum‘ or ‘Solana‘), we can estimate that Near has an average of 300/350 transactions per minute (measured by day), and that between April and May it saw an increas in the amount of failed transactions. As we can see, it performs worse than Solana in the amount of TPM, but much better as regards to the amount of failed transactions; as regards to Avalanche, Near performs a bit better in TPM, but Avalanche appears to have the Failure/Successful issue in control; finally, we can say that Ethereum is more stable as regards to Failure/Successful transactions and that processes the double of TPM than Near.
