    Prologue

You’re in a deep sleep and Jesus comes in your dream to change your fortune. He tells you who is going to win tomorrow’s match but there’s no time to waste. You wake up sweating, look at the clock and it’s way too late for any bookie you know. Luckily crypto never sleeps so you’re all good.

In this dashboard we’re looking at the top 5 addresses with the touch of God who beat all odds and came out victorious, cashing in that sweet sweet crypto using Overtime Markets on Optimism.

Because most of these traders only opened positions on one game during our observed time frame, we are only going to only see them profit on a single sport. Three of them had positions on Baseball, with the other two having positions on MMA and Fotball.

In the table below we can see all of their winning bets as well as their respective activity up until the claim of the winnings.

    Epilogue

We can see the top 5 Overtime Markets traders not being consumed by greed and only acting with precision and conviction. Seeing that they continue to adjust their position indicates that their actions were not impulsive and they did their best to maximize the outcome of their “gamble” by reacting to the changing odds.

Although we only have a small number of actions to go by for each of them, we’ve seen them limiting themselves to a single sport which is very likely to be the case even moving forward as sports betting requires a lot of expertise that rarely crosses over into other sports.

Leaderboard includes the top 5 profitable traders of the last two weeks.

The most profitable trader at the time of writing has made a profit of over $9.2k, almost double the profit of our 5th ranked trader. With Overtime Markets still in its early days and with a relatively low user base, we’re not yet seeing a lot of users competing in the same bracket of bet volume and size, hence the great divide between the top ranking users.

There is a common aspect among these users however, and that is the number of markets (games) they have opened positions on. Four out of the five only opened positions on a single game, but in all cases we can see them continuing to adjust their position while the market was still open. All adjustments were position increases, with none of the addresses selling any of their previous position tokens.
